I was so sad to see this news this morning, my heart sank into my stomach.
I saw the band live in 1973, Dark Side of the Moon.
Laser light show, blackberry Brandy, the whole works.
Now, I have to save up to buy the Pulse music cd.
Thanks for setting up your journal for this sad , but historical moment.
Syd Barrett and Richard Wright are together once more.

I saw Pink Floyd 'live' in 1973, Dark Side of the Moon, with Roger Waters, all of the band, except Syd. But, the light show, music, fog, black berry brandy, and my friends made this a memory I will always cherish..

I didn't know that Wright was even ill...
Guess we'll never know what cancer got him. He was so good on the PULSE music video..RUN LIKE HELL..geesh
